Additional Details: In addition to the educational program, there will be tables from community organizations, child care for ages 2-8 years sponsored by Ready to Read, STD testing by DSHS and lunch. All activities are FREE. Teen Straight Talk is a community based non-profit group dedicated to providing education and resources on topics critical to today’s youth on the south plains, such as comprehensive sex education, sexting, self-esteem, bullying prevention and body image. It is the goal of Teen Straight Talk to provide factual information from professionals in medicine, counseling and social work, to open a dialog between teens and their parents about these difficult topics. At Teen Straight Talk true knowledge is true power.
