teen-straight-talkPurpose:  Teen Straight Talk is a community based health education program to introduce topics of physical, sexual and mental wellness to the youth of the south plains and their parents to help them begin a dialog together.  |  Flyer

Where: The Bridge of Lubbock  |  1301 Rosebud Ave.

Additional Details:  In addition to the educational program, there will be tables from community organizations, child care for ages 2-8 years sponsored by Ready to Read, STD testing by DSHS and lunch. All activities are FREE. Teen Straight Talk is a community based non-profit group dedicated to providing education and resources on topics critical to today’s youth on the south plains, such as comprehensive sex education, sexting, self-esteem, bullying prevention and body image. It is the goal of Teen Straight Talk to provide factual information from professionals in medicine, counseling and social work, to open a dialog between teens and their parents about these difficult topics. At Teen Straight Talk true knowledge is true power.

If possible please use early registration to help the organizers to prepare. Include each person who will be attending, including small children who will be in child care.
